Strontium Oxide Nanoparticles
SrO Nanoparticles with well-defined particle morphology with dimensions exhibit excellent optical, thermal properties, high oxidation resistance, and high mechanical, electrical, chemical and magnetic properties. Strontium oxide nanoparticles have a hierarchical morphology that can help design devices for gas sensors, solar cells, doped semiconductors, dye-sensitive solar cells, transistors, lithium-ion battery electrodes, catalyst holders, and super capacitors. It was observed that the pathway, precursors and synthesis parameters play a key role in controlling the engineering of crystals with the desired properties. SrO Nanoparticles were mainly characterized by chemical and thermodynamic parameters to improve functional properties. A simple, efficient and practical sol-gel method is considered to be the most active field of green chemistry, which helps to obtain ultrapure materials with limited particle surface defects in a short time with improved functional surface properties with limited agglomeration. The one-pot synthesis of SrO Nanoparticles using strontium nitrate and hexamethylenetetramine at room temperature was reported and its optical properties studied.10 In this paper, SrO Nanoparticles were synthesized using a wet process. The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized by XRD, TEM, FT-IR and TG-DTA. The analytical technique based on electron microscopy reveals a homogeneous stoichiometry with a large surface area and improved functional properties. The SrO nanoparticles were characterized and observed by analysis.
