CdS/Ag2S Core-Shell Nanoparticles

 Cds/ ag2s core-shell nanoparticles are a class of nanomaterials that combine the unique properties of cadmium sulfide (CdS) and silver sulfide (Ag2_22​S), both of which are semiconductor materials. These nanoparticles consist of a CdS core surrounded by a Ag2_22​S shell, and the combination of these two materials imparts enhanced optical, electronic, and catalytic properties, making them highly useful in a variety of applications.

Applications

Photocatalysis

Solar Energy Conversion: The CdS/Ag2_22​S core-shell nanoparticles can be used in photocatalytic applications, such as solar hydrogen production and water splitting.
