Lead Nanopowder
Lead is a chemical element with the symbol Pb and atomic number 82. It is a heavy metal denser than the most common materials. Lead is soft and malleable and also has a relatively low melting point. When cut, lead is silver with a touch of blue; It becomes opaque with an opaque gray when exposed to air. Lead has the highest atomic number of any stable element and three of its isotopes are endpoints of the main nuclear decay chains of heavier elements.
Lead is a relatively non-reactive post-transition metal. Its weak metallic character is illustrated by its amphoteric character; Lead and lead oxides react with acids and bases and tend to form covalent bonds. Lead compounds are generally in the oxidation state +2 instead of the common state of +4 with the lighter members of the carbon group. The exceptions are mainly limited to organic compounds. Like the lightest members of the group, lead tends to bind with itself. It can form polyhedral chains and structures.
