Rod-shaped structure, yellow powder, easy to be dispersed, strong coloring, hiding power, insoluble in alkali, slightly soluble in acid.
Strong light resistance, non-toxic, tasteless, widely used in coatings, plastics, paints, and pharmaceutical fields.
1) yellow iron oxide, acid resistance (general weak acid, and diluted acid). Resistance to alkali, in any concentration of the alkaline solution, are very stable.
2) Good resistance to light, heat, weather. Coating color durable in light, can keeping coating not damaged in the light. Yellow iron oxide pigment, stable within a certain temperature, more than a limit temperature, the color will change. However, yellow iron oxide pigments are not affected by climate.
3) Iron oxide yellow is stable in any atmosphere: (H2S, CO, SO2, HCI, NO …). Resistant to pollution, water, oil, solvent penetration. Does not dissolve in water, insoluble in mineral oil, and vegetable oil.
