Silver Nitrate Powder
Silver nitrate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula AgNO3. This compound is a versatile precursor for many other silver compounds, such as those used in photography. It is much less sensitive to light than halides. It was once called caustic lunar because silver was called moon by the ancient alchemists, who believed that silver was associated with the moon.
In solid silver nitrate, silver ions are three coordinates in a trigonal planar arrangement.
